“The City of Goodlettsville is extremely excited about the possibilities that come with the listing for sale of the RiverGate Mall property,” said Ellis. “With strong retail remaining at the RiverGate Mall location in Dillard’s and JC Penney’s, as well as the recent construction and opening of BJ’s Wholesale, this area is certainly a viable location for the next generation of redevelopment. The opportunities that a sale of a portion of RiverGate Mall affords the City of Goodlettsville and its residents are endless.”

The listing describes the property as a rare large-scale redevelopment opportunity that could accommodate many different uses.

Target, BJ’s Wholesale Warehouse, Dillard’s and JC Penny’s, are strong traffic generators on the site, according to the listing.

In fact, realtors say the current zoning allows for high-density retail, office and multifamily. Those interested in the property will also have a national lineup of shop tenants to work into potential redevelopment which include Finish Line, Lids, Champ Sports, Guitar Center, Aeropostale, Rack Room Shoes, Foot Locker, Claire’s, Journeys, Hot Topic, and many others.

As of this writing, a price for the property is not shared on the listing.
