Hollywood legend Rita Moreno, who turned 92 in December, sharply criticized the rhetoric comparing former President Trump’s 91 criminal charges to President Biden’s age of 81.

In an interview on “The View,” Moreno said the presidential candidates’ apparent political weaknesses are not comparable, but she’s not surprised that many focus on Biden’s age, pointing to the political climate.

“Actually, I’m not surprised given the tenor of what’s going on in this country right now,” Moreno said, when asked what she makes of the discussion.

“But let me say this, and it’s very succinct and to the point: I am not about to vote for someone who has 91 indictments against for criminal activity,” she added.

Trump faces a total of 91 criminal charges across a total of four indictments — two related to his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election; one related to allegations of willful retention of classified defense information and obstruction of federal efforts to retrieve the documents; the fourth related to alleged hush money payments ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

“Enough said already. That’s so stupid,” Moreno added, referring to comparisons of the candidates’ weaknesses.

“Look at all the stuff that Biden has accomplished,” she added.

Moreno turned to “The View” co-host Ana Navarro, a centrist Republican, and said, “I know where you stand politically.”

“I’d take 81 years over 91 counts any day,” Navarro said, cutting in.

“You’re damn right. You’re damn right. Absolutely,” Moreno responded. “It’s appalling. It’s appalling.”

In a recent interview with The Hill, Moreno said she thinks “people are mistaking something of President Biden.”

“I think that because he walks like an elderly person — which he does — they don’t think this is working,” Moreno added, pointing to her head. “They don’t understand anything about old age.”

Noting that she didn’t “want to get political,” Moreno said she hoped age “isn’t what’s on the minds of good Americans.”
