Rio Rancho municipal election happening March 5, 2024
RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – Rio Rancho’s municipal election is happening soon. Here’s some key info for voters.
Election day is March 5, 2024. Same-day voter registration is available at voting convenience centers. All voters will need one current ID containing their name and photo. The following voting convenience centers will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on election day.

District 6 City Councilor, four-year term
General Obligation Bonds:
$10.6 million Road Bond question
$4.2 million Public Safety Bond question
$1.2 million Quality of Life Facilities Bond question
Absentee ballots must be returned no later than 7:00 p.m. on March 5. They can be returned to any of the voting convenience centers or to the clerk’s office (3200 Civic Center Circle NE, Suite 150).
