If You Work at RIM, You Might Want to Start Packing Your Desk

If you work for RIM, you might want to start polishing off your resume and start slipping your name to other employers. The layoffs are expected to come on June 1, a day prior to the end of RIM's first quarter.

The layoffs are reportedly part of new CEO Thorsten Heins' streamlining plan for the company that aims to cut $1 billion from their bottom line for 2013. Heins was supposed to be the one to make Blackberry cool again, but their new OS flopped when it debuted earlier this year.
