South Ridge Elementary School was placed on secure status “for less than 10 minutes due to law enforcement activity in the neighborhood surrounding the school,” Douglas County School District spokesperson Paula Hans told FOX31.

While police found the man in question, no further information was immediately available about him.

“The subject was contacted and it was determined he did not violate any laws,” police spokesperson Taylor Temby told FOX31.
