Teresa Giudice is touting her recent breast implants on her Instagram account.

It's a touchy subject with her fans. Not everyone has had positive experiences with breast augmentation, they say.

“You are very lucky you haven't had problems (yet) with these, but I hope women on here do not take this advice!” a fan wrote. “(You're) putting 'foreign plastic' in your body!”

Giudice, star of Bravo's “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” shared a sponsored post with breast implant manufacturer Sientra on Tuesday, Nov. 2. She and fellow “RHONJ” cast member Dolores Catania had been talking about the subject, she said.

“Our convos have made me want to share more about my journey and why I chose #SientraImplants, including how Sientra has low complication rates1 ... and a comprehensive 20-year warranty, so make sure to keep following along … You won’t want to miss this!” posted Giudice with a pic of her in a low-cut top.

The “rates1” refers to a Sientra-sponsored study on their breast implants. Giudice also offered a $250 discount on a breast augmentation with a Sientra board-certified plastic surgeon.

“These, like all implants now have a black box warning,” another fan wrote. “Your body cooks the silicone inside you and it's no longer an inert substance, but instead causes terrible scaring adhering to your rib cage where BIA-ALCL cancer begins, as well as silicone bleeds and heavy metal poisoning. They are extremely dangerous and should not be promoted.”

“BIA-ALCL” is “breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma,” a type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that develops near implants, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The risk of developing it is “low,” according to the FDA, but it can be fatal.

“How about talking about BREAST IMPLANT ILLNESS???” commented another fan. “So many woman sick and don't even realize it's from their implants.”

Giudice posted a pic of her and New York plastic surgeon Dr. Aviva Preminger announcing that she had her breasts “re-done” in January 2020. Giudice's breast augmentation in 2008 was a plotline of the debut season of “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

“I was very nervous to re-do my breasts, but I felt it was necessary for me to feel like my best self,” said Giudice, who did not mention the brand of the new implants, in 2020.

Giudice recently became engaged to boyfriend Luis Ruelas. The two purchased a house in Giudice's hometown of Montville for $3.35 million in February.
