Rhode Island gas prices climb a cent
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gas prices climbed by a cent in Rhode Island in the past week.
AAA Southern New England said Monday the average cost of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in the Ocean State is $3.96, up from $3.95
Over the last month, prices in Rhode Island have climbed 12 cents. The local price is 18 cents above the national average of $3.78 a gallon.
Rhode Islanders were paying on average $3.58 a gallon last year at this time.
