Rhinos beat Grit 5-2 in final regular season home game
EL PASO, Texas – The El Paso Rhinos (37-15) played its way to a 5-2 win over the Colorado Grit (11-40) in its final home game of the NAHL regular season at the El Paso County Events Center on Sunday.
And the Rhinos end their regular season with a WIN against the Grit! 5-2 after the third with a goal by Lund.

After being down 2-0 at the end of the first period, the Rhinos scored four goals in the second and one more in the third to complete the comeback.
Mason LeBel got things going for the Rhinos as he scored the team’s first goal in the second period with 16:20 to go. Frank Tafelski (11:15, 2nd), Ritter Coombs (8:50, 2nd), Alexandre Pellerin (31.8, 2nd) also scored in the second period.
Tory Lund (7:05, 3rd) was the Rhinos’ final goal scorer of the game.
Up next, the Rhinos will hit the road to conclude the regular season and take on the Shreveport Mudbugs at Georges Pond Hirsch Coliseum on Friday and Saturday.
