Retired admiral joins Entergy board
Entergy names Retired Adm. Kirkland Donald to its board of directors
NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Retired Adm. Kirkland Donald has been elected to the Entergy Corp. board of directors.
The New Orleans-based utility says Kirkland will sit on the company's nuclear and finance committees. The full board has 11 members.
The 59-year-old Donald graduated from the Naval Academy in 1975. From 2004-2012 he was director of the naval nuclear propulsion program. He retired from the Navy earlier this year.
He currently is executive vice president, chief operating officer and a member of the board of Systems Planning and Analysis Inc.
