1. One person was killed and two were injured in a shooting near the University of Minnesota Thursday night. Police believe the shooter and victims "knew each other," but no arrests have been made. (Bring Me The News)

2. A group of restaurant owners are suing the City of Minneapolis over the proof of vaccine mandate that went into effect this week. "A lot of people donā€™t respond well to being forced," said Greg Urban of Wild Greg's Saloon, one of seven businesses involved in the suit. (KARE11)

3. A fire broke out Friday morning at a homeless encampment just north of Target Field, ABC News reports. Fire crews were called to the scene around 3:30 a.m. It is unclear if any injuries occurred. (KSTP)

4. New video released by the State Patrol shows the scene where Hennepin County Sheriff David Hutchinson crashed his car last month on I-94 near Alexandria. Gov. Tim Walz called for his resignation Thursday amid new details which revealed Hutchinson was driving 126 miles per hour with a blood-alcohol content nearly twice the legal limit. 5. Comedian and St. Paul native Louie Anderson died of cancer Friday at the age of 68. "He's the greatest of all time when it comes to being a comedian, trailblazer and mentor in Minnesota comedy," author Patrick Strait said. (Paid source: Star Tribune)
