Inspector observed clean food equipment and/or utensils in the ware washing area, stored wet in a manner that does not allow for draining and/or air drying; cardboard being used as a covering in the refrigerator; and the intake/exhaust air duct emitting dust and dirt into the air.

Kirmani Fresh Market: 2232 Route 115, Brodheadsville

Inspector observed the facility did not have available sanitizer or sanitizer test strips to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration; a buildup of dust and dirt on fan guards in the walk-in cooler; and the intake/exhaust air duct emitting dust and dirt into the air.

Food Mart: 527 Main St., Tobyhanna

Inspector found the facility was using or offering for sale gummies containing THC, an unapproved additive or an approved additive at elevated levels. The items were voluntarily removed.

Wander Inn Bar & Grill: 279 S. Courtland St., East Stroudsburg

Inspector observed the facility did not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration; cardboard being used as a floor covering in the walk-in cooler; and black mold and dirt on the ceiling of the walk-in cooler.

Sycamore Grille: 92 Main St., Delaware Water Gap

Inspector observed a black and pink mold-like substance on the interior surfaces and separator plate of the ice machine (cleaned and sanitized during the inspection).

El Cocinero Restaurant: 1240 N. 9th St., Stroudsburg

Inspected May 2. Jurisdiction: Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. Violations: 4

Inspector observed food employees working with exposed foods with fingernail polish and/or artificial fingernails; food employees in the counter service area not wearing proper hair restraints; various marinating raw animal foods in the walk-in cooler area stored open with no covering; and insecticides or rodenticides in the counter service area not labeled by the manufacturer as approved for use in a food facility.

This was a follow-up inspection after being out of compliance on April 9.
