Restaurant Bites: Two French restaurants meet their Waterloo
Dec. 12—La Tour Experience's brief tenure as a French restaurant at 500 Sandoval St. ended Dec. 11. Los Alamos doctors Lynda and Salim Amrani opened La Tour Experience in January but closed "for personal reasons complicated by the labor shortage."
----Le Pommier in Eldorado announced Dec. 7 it had "to close our doors." Alain and Suzane Jorand opened their French bistro in September 2021. Alain Jorand will continue with catering.
----Locks are outside and inside on the door of Lone Spur Cafe, 50 E. San Francisco St., and the restaurant did not appear to be operating. The Arizona-based family chain opened in Santa Fe in summer 2021, the company's first expansion beyond Arizona and Colorado. It has since added four locations in Texas.
