Residents Wake Up to Lightning Show in Central Arkansas
Residents woke up to a lightning show in central Arkansas as a thunderstorm passed through the area on Wednesday, May 22, footage shows.
Footage filmed and posted by resident Cara Bridges shows lightning streaking across the sky in greater Little Rock on Wednesday morning. “Not a whole lot of rain in West Little Rock from this morning’s thunderstorm that passed by, but the lightning put on quite a show!” read the post.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a hazardous weather outlook for the area to remain in effect until next Tuesday, with large winds and damaging hail forecast. The NWS said a tornado is also possible. Credit: Cara Bridges via Storyful
