Republican candidates for Colorado’s Congressional District 5 to debate on May 16

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Thursday, May 16 the Lincoln Club of Colorado along with AM 1460/FM 101.1 The Answer, will host a debate between Republican candidates for Colorado’s Congressional District 5 (CD5) seat.

CD5 was held by Congressman Doug Lamborn for 17 years before he announced he would not be running for reelection in early 2024.

The Lincoln Club of Colorado said the confirmed participants for the debate are Jeff Crank and David Williams.

The event will be held at Centennial Hall at 200 South Cascade Avenue, and the debate begins at 7 p.m. Thursday and will also be live-streamed on YouTube.

Tickets will not be sold at the door and must be purchased online:

  • General admission: $20

  • VIP: $40

  • Young Republican (18 – 40): $10

The Lincoln Club of Colorado said all eligible major party candidates have been invited to participate.
