Reports: Shooting south of downtown St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Police have cordoned off a section of a street south of downtown St. Louis amid media reports of a shooting inside a business there.

St. Louis police did not immediately return multiple calls seeking comment. Multiple St. Louis outlets reported the shootings took place Tuesday afternoon at a business along Cherokee Street. A single ambulance was parked outside the building as hundreds of people were gathered about a half-block away to see what was going on.

The business is located in a neighborhood where many Hispanics have relocated in recent years. The street is lined with antique shops, kitsch stores and other shops.
