Reports: Military Members Injured in Colorado Shooting

Some members of the military were injured in the deadly shooting at a Colorado theater that left 12 dead Friday morning, according to reports.

The Associated Press reported that “some members of the military were either killed or wounded,” according to a Pentagon spokesman. It was unclear how many casualties there were.

The Air Force Times reported that service members from Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado were among the injured, but did not say how many or the extent of their injuries.

“This tragic event has affected everybody here at Buckley Air Force Base and our local community friends and neighbors,” base commander Col. Daniel Dant said in a statement to the Air Force Times. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of each and every loved one.”
