Report: Kansas top 10 worst drivers in USA

KANSAS (KSNT) – A report compiled by Forbes analyzed data from all 50 states to discover which states have the worst drivers, Kansas ranked in the top 10.

According to AAA findings, more than half of all drivers engage in speeding, driving while distracted and engaging in aggressive driving. In Kansas, many deadly crashes were attributed to drivers disobeying traffic signs, signals or traffic officers, according to the Forbes report.

Forbes ranked Kansas 8th in the USA due to its second-highest number of deadly crashes for drivers disobeying signs, signals or officers. Kansas also ranked third for the number of deadly crashes involving distracted drivers and for the number of deadly crashes involving sleepy drivers.

New Mexico took the top spot for the worst drivers in the country with the highest number of deadly crashes involving distracted drivers, second for deadly crashes involving speeding and third for total number of deadly crashes and crashes involving drunk drivers.
