The Philadelphia Eagles just watched their best hopes of a Super Bowl in years go down with Carson Wentz’s left knee.

With their starting quarterback done for the season with a torn ACL and a backup in Nick Foles whom only the most optimistic believe is capable of a championship run, the obvious move is to sign the free-agent quarterback with a Super Bowl resume in the prime of his career.

The quarterback who posted a 90.7 rating thanks to a 16-to-4 touchdown to interception ratio the last time he played in 2016.

It seems obvious, right?
