Report: New downtown GR high-rise opens pre-leasing

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — While construction crews are still putting the finishing touches on the newest addition to the Grand Rapids city skyline, its units are already on the market, News 8 partner Crain’s Grand Rapids Business reports.

Studio Park Tower on Ionia Avenue is pre-leasing its condo and apartment units throughout the additional 16 floors constructed above the current building, according to the report.

Amenities include a gym, sauna, golf simulator, dog wash, competition-length pool and outdoor deck featuring firepits, green space, grilling stations and a pickleball court, Crain’s reports.

In total, Studio Park Tower houses 25 condos, with at least nine of them already reserved as of Friday, according to the report. They’re listed between $595,000 and $1.15 million, with space ranging from 989 square feet to more than 2,400, Crain’s says. All condos have their own balcony.

So do most of the 165 apartments, which range from 500 to 1,200 square feet depending on unit type, per the report. Monthly rent is between $1,500 and $3,200.

Construction is not expected to be done until at least September, but Studio Park Tower is already taking pre-leasing requests, Crain’s reports.
