New York's governor, Andrew Cuomo, was born and bred in Queens and lived there until 1993, when he joined the first Clinton campaign. Now his former house—still known as the Cuomo House by neighbors—is on the market again. Available for a short-term rental from July to December for $5,500 a month, the residence was the last place in the area that the governor lived before moving to Manhattan according to Curbed. The home has six bedrooms, four baths, and one half bath, and was sold for $2.4 million last year. The 1920 Mediterranean-style residence's story doesn't end there; it is also considered the "sister property" to the house that reportedly inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.
