The renovations to the basketball court will include:

  • Replacement of two basketball goal systems

  • A stone dust and asphalt overlay on the existing basketball court

  • Color coating and line painting

  • Installation of a 10-foot vinyl-coated fence on the northern end of the court

  • Placement of a memorial bench

The park will still be open to the public during the renovations, but the renovations may impact certain park access points, including the parking lot behind the Dolley Madison Library.

Park visitors should follow signs and placards that will be placed around the site during the renovation period.
