Registration opens for WCSO’s CHAMP Camp

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) will host its second annual CHAMP Camp on July 9.

“The kids who attended last year had almost as much fun as the Deputies that led the activities,” Lt. Kevin Sanders, who organizes the event, said in a release. “They’ll meet our K-9s, learn about criminal investigations, get to see our SWAT team’s equipment and drive through a safety course with one of our driving instructors.”

Community members interested in supporting the event can make donations to the Friends of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
