New Regency Production President Pam Abdy Exiting

Pam Abdy, New Regency’s president of production, is leaving her post, exiting after she finishes helping to ready the Michael Fassbender-starrer Assassin’s Creed for its December release. She came in while Brad Weston was running the company for Arnon Milchan. Insiders said her exit was amicable, and New Regency chairman Yariv Milchan and COO Jonathan Fischer will set her replacement in the coming weeks.

“We have loved working with Pam over the past three years. She is a phenomenal executive with incredible instincts and filmmaker relationships. We are so appreciative of her dedication to the company and most recently for her work on The Revenant and the upcoming Assassin’s Creed,” said Milchan and Fischer in a joint statement.

New Regency is currently prepping Steve McQueen’s next film Widows, and Beautiful Boy and Fraggle Rock are also upcoming.
