Reddit user's panorama fail is a work of art

While technology has created some incredibly helpful tools, sometimes our beloved apps produce hilarious mistakes.

For Reddit user, MalletsDarker Google so kindly stitched together a panorama from his photos after his visit to Lake Louise in Alberta Canada.

But the result wasn't what most would expect from a picturesque day in the snow.

What he got instead was a very bizarre personal version of a Candian Mount Rushmore.

Another user, NahAnyway, offered up a very plausible explanation as to how this amazing glitch occurred: ' I think I see what happened here. If you look to the left of his head you can see that tree has been cut off and replaced upon the top of that other tree. Given the perfectly blue sky behind both, Google must have interpreted that tree - which was actually far behind him - to be a scale marker for everything else relative to his face in the image. That tree must have been sufficiently similar to the top of the other and boom - Skizilla.'

This was definitely not what Google intended, but it sure did bring a smile to the 6,000 plus people who liked the image on Imgur.
