Record turnout expected for One Albuquerque Clean Up Day on Saturday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuqrueue leaders say this year’s citywide cleanup event could be the biggest one to date. Keep Albuquerque Beautiful and the Solid Waste Department expects 1,194 volunteers to participate in Saturday’s One Albuquerque Clean-up Day which would be a single-day record. They hope to collect more than ten tons of trash.

Registration has already ended. If you would like to help, Councilor Renee Grout is hosting another clean-up event. Just meet at the Sprouts near Central and Tramway anytime Saturday morning from 7:30-11 a.m.
