Record high temperatures are possible in Acadiana for your Memorial Day. Temperatures are starting in the upper 70s to low 80s, followed by highs in the mid-90s this afternoon. The heat index will range from 105° to 110° during the hottest part of the day. A Heat Advisory is in effect until 8:00 pm. Isolated showers and storms are possible late in the afternoon and there is a very low risk for severe weather.
