Reconstruction to take place on Tanglewood Lane, Meadow Avenue

Dec. 23—The City of Odessa issued a press release late Thursday afternoon that two reconstruction projects are scheduled to begin on Jan. 3.

One of the reconstruction projects is for Tanglewood Lane, between Penbrook Street and 52nd Street, while the other is Meadow Avenue, between east Murphy and the north service road of Interstate 20.

The reconstruction on Tanglewood Lane will include the installation of a new water main and road reconstruction. The project is contracted at 120 working days. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction, north and south, as construction phasing progresses.

The reconstruction on Meadow Avenue will include the installation of a concrete valley gutter, curb work and road reconstruction. This project is also contracted at 120 working days. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction, north and south, as construction phasing progresses.
