A line of space heaters with a design flaw that can ignite nearby objects are among this week's recalled consumer products. Others include bean bag chairs and hooded shirts.

SPACE HEATERS

DETAILS: Portable infrared radiant quartz electric space heaters made by Dongguan Hong-Hwa Electric Co. and imported by Optimus Enterprise Inc. The recalled products have model numbers H-5210, produced in 2011 and H-5211, produced in 2012. The model number and the year of production appear on a label on the back of the heater. They were sold from October 2011 through December 2012.

WHY: The heater design can fail to prevent ignition of nearby combustible materials that come in contact with the unit, posing a fire hazard to the consumer.

INCIDENTS: None reported.

HOODIES

DETAILS: Deezo boys and girls zip-up hoodies made by Zulily Inc. The sweatshirts and jackets have designs that include a heart with arrow, swirl, alien, flower, guitar, motor scooter, and circuit board designs and come in the following color combinations: pink with white or black trim; white with pink or green trim; blue with a light blue and white trim and black with blue or green trim. The following model numbers are included in the recall: 12501, 12502, 12503, 12504, 12505, 12506, 12507, 12508, 12509, 12801, 12802, 12803, 12804, 12806, 12807, 12808, 12809, and 12810. Model numbers are located on the care label sewn into the garments side seam. They were sold from August 2012 through March 2013.

WHY: The sweatshirts and jackets have drawstrings through the hood which pose a strangulation hazard to young children.

INCIDENTS: None reported.

BEAN BAG CHAIRS

DETAILS: Anywhere Lounger Bean Bag Chairs made by L. Powell Acquisition Corp. Recalled colors include purple (item 199-B004), chocolate (item 199-B005), bayou blue (item 199-B006), pink (item 199-B007), lime green (item 199-B008), denim (item 199-B009), black and white (item 199-B012), striped black and white (item 199-B014), natural (item 199-B016) and camo (item 199-B017). The item number is printed on the product packaging and Powell Company is printed on the label on the bean bag chairs. They were sold from June 2012 through February 2013.

WHY: Bean bag chairs without a permanent zipper closure allow young children to unzip the chair and then ingest or inhale the small beads inside, posing a suffocation and strangulation hazard.

INCIDENTS: None reported.
