‘Really disappointed;’ Local school district employee center of police investigation
A Huber Heights City Schools employee is the focus of a police investigation and parents want answers.
As reported on News Center 7 at 5:30, concerned parents say this investigation has been the center of discussion this week.

Shonda Enright and Angie Mack both have children who attend Huber Heights City Schools.
“She is at Valley Forge Elementary right now,” Enright said.
“He’s about to go to elementary school,” Mack said
News Center 7 first learned about the investigation on Wednesday and has sent countless requests for more information.
On Friday, News Center 7 received a statement from the district:
“Huber Heights City Schools is currently investigating an allegation involving a Huber Heights City Schools staff member. As part of this process, we have contacted the Huber Heights Police Division.
Due to this being an active personnel investigation, we are not able to release any information regarding the situation or details surrounding the investigation at this time.”
“I don’t know how to take it. I’m actually really disappointed that the school didn’t send a notice out to any of the parents, letting them know that something was going on,” Enright said.

“I was kind of like, maybe it’s a rumor. Maybe it’s not. You never know until you really investigate it and figure it out,” Mack said.
The district said they contacted police to help investigate.
News Center 7′s John Bedell contacted Huber Heights Police Department for more information.
“This investigation is in the early stages and is working to determine if any criminal conduct did occur,” a spokesperson from the department said.
The spokesperson said the department could not answer our questions about the nature of “the incident or allegation” or whether police have been made aware of any potential victims.
“This investigation is limited to an employee at one building within the school district,” the spokesperson said.
Enright and Mack say they aren’t the only parents in the district who want answers.
“I want to know what’s going on,” Enright said.
News Center 7′s John Bedell asked the district if the employee had been placed on leave, but they did not provide an answer.
