FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Fresno State head football coach Jeff Tedford sat down with the Sports Central team for an exclusive interview on Thursday to give an update on the Bulldogs’ head coach’s health situation.

In December, the Bulldogs’ head coach stepped away temporarily to address personal health concerns. Now, Tedford says he feels fine and is eager for spring ball to begin.

“You’ve got to monitor your health. It was really bad timing at the end of the year. I thought I was going to have something major done. At some point it might happen, but I feel fine” said Tedford.

The Bulldogs open up the 2024 season on the road at Michigan on August 31. You can see the full sit-down interview with coach Tedford on Sunday at 6 pm in Bulldog Insider on KSEE24.
