This reality TV show follows farm owners in Missouri. It’s now streaming on Peacock

If you like “Yellowstone,” there is a new show on NBC’s streaming service Peacock filmed an hour north of Kansas City available to watch today.

“The McBee Dynasty: Real Life Cowboys,” is about the McBee family, who own McBee Farm & Cattle Co. in Gallatin, Missouri. The 11-episode docuseries follows owner Steve McBee and his sons Steven McBee Jr., Cole McBee, Jesse McBee, Brayden McBee as they and their employees race against time to secure a $100 million deal with a venture capital firm.

In a two-minute preview trailer, the McBee family are introduced one by one, each giving viewers a glimpse at their personalities. Steven Jr. says they’re “cowboys in every sense of the word,” while brother Jesse says their lifestyle may look fun, it’s actually chaos.

Steve McBee spent the majority of his life building the farm and ranch, acre by acre, according to the trailer. He now has a big decision to make regarding the farm’s future.

“One of the boys is going to have to take over the farm,” Steve says. “I’m just not sure who that’s going to be.”

The trailer reveals a fight between the brothers over who will take control of the ranch with Steven Jr. saying he’s “trying to run the global business” since “this company would not run without me.” He later warns his brother that they do not stand a chance as they argue about who their dad will ultimately “trust.”

Whoever does take over the farm is also taking on $50 million debt, Steve says in the trailer. He reveals that CFO Galyna Saltkovska is “working to borrow $105 million,” and that the success of this deal is in her hands.

The family also is not well-liked in Gallatin, as one townsperson shouts expletives at the McBees as they walk into an event together.

“The pressure’s relentless,” Steve said to one of his sons. “One of you guys is gonna have to step up. We could lose everything.”

In addition to all the episodes being available on Peacock, the show’s broadcast premiere is 10 p.m. Monday on USA, with new episodes weekly on Mondays following WWE’s Monday Night Raw.
