Real Housewives of New York City Star Ramona Singer Sells Upper East Side Home for $4 Million

Ramona Singer is closing a chapter of her life with the sale of her longtime Upper East Side home. The Real Housewives of New York City star first listed the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom apartment for $4.995 million back in June 2018, and she recently found a buyer who paid $4 million for the posh pad.

Last year, Singer told BravoTV that she was looking to sell her beloved apartment of more than 20 years because her daughter, Avery Singer, is now an adult and is enjoying a post-college life away from home. “I’m an empty nester, and I think it just makes sense to move to a smaller place,” she said at the time. “I’m traveling so much more, and I still have the place in the Hamptons. So I think it makes good, emotional sense for me.”

The unit, located on the 16th floor of a luxury condominium building, spans 2,468 square feet and was substantially renovated in 2017. An entry gallery opens onto a combination southern- and western-facing living room and dining room with hardwood floors; floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light. One major renovation to the main living area was removing a wall in the kitchen, creating an entirely open space. The master suite is undoubtedly the highlight of the home, with a walk-in closet and a sizable white marble bathroom with a deep soaking tub and separate glass-lined steam shower. There are three additional bedrooms, with a fourth currently being used as a small den. Building residents are also granted access to a landscaped roof deck, which offers stunning views of the city below.

Despite saying she feels “bittersweet” about the move, Singer has already relocated to a new apartment 20 blocks south of her former abode, and has been excitedly sharing glimpses into her sleek new home on social media. “The best part is the view, so I know I’m going to be loving this, waking up and looking in this floor-to-[ceiling] glass,” she said in a recent Instagram story featuring her dog, Coco, in her new home. She then asked the pooch, “I mean, come on, it’s gonna be fabulous, right, Coco?” Singer also explained that she had retained much of her furniture from her old place, which made her new home feel comfortable right off the bat. “And of course I have Bravo on tonight and I was watching Andy Cohen, so I felt all at home with him with me,” added the Ageless by Ramona founder.
