Get ready, Caniacs! Raising Cane's is finally coming to the Mid-South

A beloved fast-food chicken chain is finally coming to the Mid-South.

After years of pleas from chicken tender lovers, Raising Cane's is opening a location in DeSoto County. It will be at 357 Goodman Road in Southaven, inside a closed O'Charley's next to Interstate 55.

According to Raising Cane's Public Relations, the Southaven location is planned to open in the second quarter of 2025, with construction beginning late this year. An exact opening date will be announced closer to opening.

It’s all about the chicken fingers at Raising Cane’s. Hand-battered marinated chicken fingers are fried to order and served with crinkle-cut fries and Cane’s signature dipping sauce. Other than coleslaw and Texas toast, that’s about it on the menu of this restaurant that calls its loyal fans “Caniacs.”
