Reading announces temporary lane closure in the 300 block of North Fifth Street
May 15—A temporary lane closure will affect traffic in the 300 block of North Fifth Street, city officials announced Wednesday.
The northbound lane in the block between Elm and Buttonwood streets will be closed Thursday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Motorists are advised to follow the detour by taking Elm Street east to North Sixth Street, following it north to Buttonwood Street and turning west to return to North Fifth Street.
This detour is recommended to mitigate traffic congestion and ensure smooth traffic flow, officials said.
