RCSO needs public’s assistance in locating missing man, no contact since August 2023

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help in locating a missing man.

Authorities say Nicholas Crawford, 44, was last seen on August 11th, 2023 and was reported missing on August 13th, 2023 by a family member, and they state that there has been no contact with him since that date.

Authorities describe Nicholas Crawford as being 5’11” and weighing 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

According to the incident report, the family says that Nicholas was going to Hephzibah to help out an unknown friend, and when the family member called Nicholas’ phone, an unknown man answered the hone stating that he found the phone at the intersection of Turkey Trail and Windsor Spring Road.

The incident report also states that the family member said that all of Nicholas’ vehicles are still at his place of residence.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the family of Nicholas Crawford is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any information that leads to his whereabouts.
