RC chamber honors Stacy as 'Hometown Hero'

May 23—Rockwall County Commissioner John Stacy was recognized at Tuesday Royse City Tri-County Chamber awards luncheon with the "Hometown Hero Award." The award honors volunteer service within the community.

"It was a surprise but an honor for this special award," Stacy said. "Public service is something I am passionate about and receiving this award is a very high honor."

Stacy serves as commissioner for Precinct 4 in Rockwall County, which includes the cities of Fate and Royse City.
