Ravens WR Breshad Perriman suffers partial ACL tear
According to numerous reports, with Adam Schefter initially breaking the story, WR Breshad Perriman has suffered a partial tear in his ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament).
Reports further detail that the injury happened earlier this week at Ravens OTAs. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport, Perriman got hurt on a fade pattern where there was no contact.

Rappaport is reporting that Perriman will see a doctor on Monday and a decision will be made on whether there is a need for immediate surgery, which would end his season.
The Central Florida product had a similar predicament last season, injuring himself during training camp on what turned out to be a season-ending PCL sprain.
This changes the tenor of what the Ravens were hoping for this season with two speedburners in Perriman and Mike Wallace. Should this injury pan out for the worst, Wallace would take on more of the role of the deep threat, with rookie Chris Moore looking to be a darkhorse factor. Moore showed in college that he could make deep plays on a big stage, toasting Ohio State three times for touchdowns in one game last season. But he does not have the size that Perriman boasts. He is a different type of threat.
The Ravens are more prepared to absorb his loss with Wallace and Moore. But Perriman was looking very strong in OTAs. #shame
