Fox News' Laura Ingraham is getting heat for her comments regarding Nipsey Hussle following a memorial service for the slain rapper, which took place on Thursday in Los Angeles.
On Friday's "The Ingraham Angle," the host mentioned how "thousands lined the streets to say goodbye to rapper Nipsey Hussle."
"Now this dear artist recently released a song called ‘FDT’ – F Donald Trump," Ingraham said during her evening newscast. She then proceeded to play a portion of the music video on air.
Although the 2016 song does feature the late "The Marathon Continues" artist, it actually belongs to Compton rapper YG. While discussing Hussle, the segment showed a clip from the "FDT" music video where only YG appeared onscreen.
"Now that’s a very creative refrain," Ingraham sarcastically remarked of the song to which her guest, journalist Raymond Arroyo, replied: "Very catchy."
The two chuckled as they continued to analyze the song.
"So... the chorus it goes on and on. Is that related to the lowest unemployment ever basically for African Americans?" Ingraham asked.
Here's Laura Ingraham mocking a murder victim, just hours after he was laid to rest, because he opposed Trump 3 years ago. (Also, the man rapping in that video is YG, a person who is not Nipsey Hussle.) For shame.pic.twitter.com/02iBYdr5wo

Several prominent music figures were not pleased with how the conservative commentator discussed Hussle's memorial.
The Game, a close friend of the late rapper, took to social media to call for the Fox News host's firing.
"So lemme tell you what’s going to happen here.... @foxnews fires this disrespectful (expletive) by tomorrow," the "Jesus Piece" artist wrote on Instagram Sunday. "We are NO LONGER laying quiet while you continuously disrespect our brother, culture African Americans as a whole. I will use my platform & call on my peers to do the same."
Long Beach rapper Snoop Dogg, who spoke at Hussle's memorial, chimed in, commenting: "I'm in."
T.I. also called out Fox News and Ingraham.
"This is Disgusting! You both are vile despicable, poor excuses for people. My expectations have already decreased so much for mankind in the past couple weeks that this hardly surprised me... especially from @foxnews," wrote the rapper to his social media page.
R&B artist Tankalso called Ingraham out.

Tank shared a link to a petition calling for Ingraham's firing, which had more than 11,000 signatures as of Monday morning.
USA TODAY has reached out to Fox News for comment on the petition and Ingraham's segment.
Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, was gunned down in front of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles on Mar. 31. The slain rapper was beloved by many in his community.
This isn't the first time Ingraham has been slammed for her controversial comments.
In 2018, the host told Lebron James to "shut up and dribble" after he expressed his thoughts on President Trump.
Later that year, David Hogg a survivor of the Florida high school shooting, called for a boycott of Ingraham after she compared the camps where migrant children are being housed in isolation from their parents to "summer camps." She also criticized Hogg for "whining" about not being accepted into four colleges he applied to. Ingraham later apologized.
