WPXI reports that Pittsburgh MC Jimmy Wopo, 21, has reportedly died after being shot in a double drive-by shooting in the Pennsylvania city.

WTAE says that two victims were hit by bullets around 4:22 p.m. near the intersection of Wylie Avenue and Chauncey Street. Officials arrived on the scene to discover Wopo and another victim suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.

The victims were transported to a hospital. While one victim was listed in stable condition, Wopo was listed in critical condition and later died from his injuries. Police believe that shooting was an isolated incident, and there’s no general threat to the area.

Wopo released a mixtape back in October titled Back Against The Wall, and according to reports, the 21-year-old recently signed a major label deal.

“I lost my brother today and it’s the worst feeling in the world,” wrote Wopo’s manager Taylor Maglin on Facebook. “He was destined for greatness and he wanted the best for his friends, family and community. We lost a great person today, but just know I will do everything in my power to make his memory live on forever. Love you bro.”

This news comes just hours after the shooting death of XXXTentacion.
