Range Rover Sport facelift spotted on test

The second-gen Range Rover Sport may have been around for only a couple of years but Land Rover has already started developing a facelift for it. As a matter of fact, the Range Rover Sport has seen a number of minor mechanical upgrades and the addition of the high-power SVR model since its debut in March 2013 at the New York Motor Show.

The facelift focuses mainly on the front end appearance for a refreshing new look. New design bits under the heavy camouflage seem to be a couple of vertical air intakes to the side of the bumper and a revised grille.

The Range Rover Sport isn’t exactly a slouch so in all probability its monstrous supercharged petrol and the relatively efficient diesel engine options will remain the same albeit with a few tweaks for the economy-minded.

Since this isn’t a major update or a generation change, the facelifted Range Rover Sport is expected to launch globally by the end of this year as a 2017 MY vehicle.
