Ram 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand Edition Revealed at Los Angeles Auto Show
This week, Ram, the truck brand of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), announced at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show that it will reintroduce its limited-edition Ram 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand option package that features light sand-colored exterior paint priced at $595 with an all-black interior treatment. Only 1,500 of these Ram 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand large pickups will be produced and they will begin arriving at U.S. dealerships next month.
It’s the first time that Ram has offered the Mojave Sand paint color on a Ram truck model, and it will only be offered on the limited-production Rebel that includes a performance hood with black decals and new full-black interior.
The cabin’s interior of the Mojave Sand Rebel is done in all black with anodized black bezels on doors, center console, instrument panel, and cluster gauge trim. All-black seats with matching stitching replace Radar Red seats. Light Slate Gray accents are used to trim the instrument panel, center console lid, doors, and seats. In addition, the rubber floor mats are decorated with gray Ram’s head logos.
The Ram 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand is offered in several configurations with options and has a starting price of $45,590 plus $1,320 destination.
Additionally, Ram officials said that the truckmaker already is offering a limited run of 1,500 Ram 1500 pickups for 2017 with the Ignition Orange color and option package priced at a suggested $1,595. Besides bright orange paint and body-color grille, the 2017 Ram 1500 Ignition Orange offers sporty exterior and interior features that are similar but color-differentiated from those offered in the Rebel Mojave Sand limited-edition package. This limited-edition bright orange exterior and interior package is only offered on Crew Cab V-8 variants and is already available at Ram dealerships.
