Ralph’s back, and this time, he’s going to wreck the internet.

‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’, the sequel to 2012’s glorious ‘Wreck-It Ralph’, will arrive on March 9, 2018, it’s been confirmed by Disney.

And John C. Reilly (who voiced Ralph), Sarah Silverman (Vanellope von Schweetz), Jack McBrayer (Fix-It Felix), and Jane Lynch (Sergeant Calhoun) will all be reprising their roles in the much-anticipated sequel.

Better still, Rich Moore, who made the first film, along with the Oscar-winning ‘Zootropolis’, will be back at the helm.

“To take these characters we love and have them enter the enormous world of the internet has given us so much to explore,” said Moore.

“Our production team has been hard at work designing a world that takes something we all think we know – the internet – but shows it in a whole new, imaginative way.”

Writer Phil Johnston added: “At the center of this film, as in the first one, is the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope, two once-outcasts, who in each other, found true friendship.”

Not much to go on there, but it’s always best not to give too much away.

The first film found John C.Reilly’s hulking but lovable computer game character struggle to find his place in the world, helping Silverman’s Vanellope to overcome prejudices too.

It made $471.2 million (£379.5 million) at the worldwide box office, and earned itself and Oscar nomination.
