Raleigh County Family Support Center offers car seat safety check

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — With Easter and Spring Break coming up, getting your child’s car seat checked should be on your Spring to-do list.

Kick-off for Inclusion Week at Coal City Elementary School

The Raleigh County Family Support Center and the Governor’s Highway Safety Program joined together to host an Easter Travel Car Seat Safety Check on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians were checking car seats to ensure they were properly secured, and to provide travel safety information to parents. They also checked to make sure the fit of the car seat on the children was correct.

The car seat safety check was at the Beckley Walmart in the lower parking lot area from 1 to 3 in the afternoon.
