Among those taking part are Claire Filson of Scranton who received a heart transplant a decade ago at the age of 22.

She ran on behalf of her fiancee, Ian Troiani, who also received a heart transplant.

“It’s so awesome to see so many like teams of like families gathered to support either their loved one or a recipient or something like that,” Filson explained.

Filson is engaged to be married this September. Sunday’s Donor Dash raised more than $650,000.
