Rain chances increasing for the weekend

The very warm weather continues today with rain chances increasing through the weekend. It will be warm again today with sunshine and then partly cloudy in the afternoon. There is a chance for a few isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, and temperatures will return to the 80s.

A cold front will slowly move through the area on Saturday with the chance for a few late-day thunderstorms. It will still be warm with highs in the 80s. Much cooler weather will move in on Sunday. It will stay mostly cloudy with rain developing as a storm system develops along the cold front stalled just offshore. Rain will continue into Monday, and then it will clear late as the system moves away. Highs will only be in the 60s for Sunday and Monday. Sunshine is back for the rest of next week with highs in the 70s.
