By Todd Cunningham LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Rachel McAdams' time travel romantic comedy "About Time" topped the box office charts in its debut in the U.K. over the weekend- Universal said Monday that the film, which will have a limited release in the U.S. on November 1 and go wide on November 8, brought in $2.7 million. It's the studio's sixth top opening in the U.K. and Ireland this year. In "About Time," McAdams' character falls in love with Tim (Domhnall Gleeson of "Harry Potter"), a man who has the ability to travel through time. When their meeting is erased, he has to win her heart all over again. If that plot makes you feel like you're time-traveling, it could be because McAdams' also starred in 2009's "The Time Traveler's Wife." And she was in Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris," in which Owen Wilson's character did the back-in-time thing. Richard Curtis, the man behind "Four Weddings and a Funeral" and "Love Actually," is the director.
