Race Across The World fans shocked as Alfie and Owen go to Penis Park

What did you miss?

Race Across The World fans were in hysterics as best friends Alfie and Owen headed to 'Penis Park', or Haesindang, Park in South Korea.

Not far from the second check point and with a wait for their transport, the friends decided to explore one of the much-talked about attractions in the area. Later in the episode, we see Alfie and Owen remain in second place at the end of the leg behind Eugenie and Isabel, who have blown a lot of their budget.

Jaws were on the floor at home as viewers were amused seeing the two friends look around Penis Park. They couldn't resist making a few cheeky jokes too along the way - much to the amusement of everyone watching at home. Among the comments, one person wrote: "PENIS PARK??????? WHAT IS GOING ON?!!!!! #RaceAcrossTheWorld."

What, how and why?

Buying the tickets, Alfie said: "Two tickets to the Penis Park please."

Owen cheekily quipped: "And that is the rest of your dignity gone."

While walking around, Alfie mused: "Why is this such a popular attraction?"

Amused Owen said: "This clearly brings people from far and wide."

The Race Across The World narrator explained how the Penis Park was created. He explained in local legend that a fisherman cursed for failing to save a woman from drowning could only get another catch after he urinated in the sea.

"Believing the sight of his genitals soothed the deceased virgin's spirit, villagers carved these sculptures hoping to sustain that good luck," he said.

Hilariously, Alfie reflected on the park while they looked around. He said: "I don’t know how to describe the Penis Park other than, it’s got a lot of penises."

A cheeky Owen replied: "What a sight to behold this is."

Hoping that the place will bring them luck, Alfie made his wishes known. "May Alfie and Owen come first on leg two," he said.

As Alfie climbed on one of the penis sculptures, his best friend couldn't resist making a cheeky joke. "May this massive d*** - whichever you think it is - bring us luck," Owen said.

Social media was awash with comments from stunned viewers at home. "I have this weird image of National Trust running a penis park #RaceAcrossTheWorld," one fan wrote.

Another added with laughing emojis: "We haven't got much to do so we'll just sit back and enjoy the penis #RaceAcrossTheWorld."

One person played on the Would I Lie To You format with the tweet: "I once raced across Japan, but stopped in South Korea to sit on a 20 foot long penis sculpture" #RaceAcrossTheWorld."
