Queens man dead after flipping his Mercedes in Grand Central Parkway crash

A Queens man was killed when he flipped his Mercedes in a crash on the Grand Central Parkway, police said Monday.

Manuel Torres, 22, was zipping east on the parkway when he slammed into two cars heading in the same direction near Parsons Blvd. in Briarwood at about 6:45 a.m. Sunday, cops said.

The impact caused his Mercedes-Benz sedan to overturn, striking another vehicle before coming to a rest upside down.

Torres died at the scene. He lived in Corona, police said.
