Queen Letizia of Spain has proven time and time again that she's a royal you should know about.

The fashionable queen -- who has consistently put other stylish royals to the test -- stepped out over the weekend in Madrid wearing a bold red dress. The sleeveless ensemble, which features a deep v-neck and shin-high cut, was no doubt one of her more daring looks.

Sweeping her hair into a messy low ponytail, the queen dressed up the red look with a thin black belt and clutch, along with chandelier earrings. An outspoken advocate of a healthy lifestyle for Spain's children, the royal showed off her toned arms and enviable figure.

Just a day after the anniversary concert held at the Teatro Real, the royal stepped out again with King Felipe to a charity event at the famed El Prado museum. Sporting an elegant long-sleeved floral flock from Zara, Queen Letizia took the stage to address a team of researchers on their cancer-fighting efforts.

The 45-year-old has long been hailed by her country for her incredible and innovative work since marrying into the royal family in 2004. Most recently, she spent a day at Barcelona's Del Mar hospital visiting victims from August's terror attacks. More on that in the video above.
