Cale Millen, a three-star quarterback recruit from Snoqualmie, Washington, committed to Oregon during a visit to campus over the weekend.

What did he do to celebrate the occasion? He chugged some raw eggs Rocky Balboa-style with his future head coach, of course.

Oregon coach Mario Cristobal didn’t throw those eggs back quite as quickly as Millen did, but that’s a small price to pay to land a talented quarterback.

Millen, the son of former NFL and Washington quarterback Hugh Millen, was previously committed to Northwestern. He backed out of that pledge in April as he started to receive more Pac-12 interest, including offers from Arizona State and Oregon. He was also contacted recently by Notre Dame and USC, per The Oregonian.

Ultimately, Millen decided Oregon was the best fit for him. He becomes the sixth commitment in Oregon’s 2019 class.
